The interesting connection here is that Soul Spheres in Classic Doom were described in the Doom Bible as such: " the soul sphere contains the life energy of a human soul" and it would originally grant the player an extra life.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. I'm not certain what a hypothetical Khan Maykr's Life Sphere would grant him anyways, not to mention it would make the Blood Swamps level confusing since it never calls into question the truthfulness of the Father's Life Sphere - the only ambiguous part is the Seraphim's intentions, but not what has already been presented to us (like the mission objective).įun fact though, the Seraphim refers to The Father's Sphere as a "soul sphere". Besides, the Seraphim was suffering from the Transfiguration, he needed the Father's Life Sphere to avoid that fate. That seems unlikely as there aren't any known candidates who would've placed it in Ingmore's Sanctum after the fall of Urdak. Even if the yellow orb was somehow the Khan Maykr's Sphere, somebody would have had to place it in Ingmore's Sanctum after she died - as the Spheres essentially contain soul data for dead gods. The Khan Maykr's Sphere was likely the orb that got destroyed when she died. The seal between worlds would prevent any denizens of the two realms from crossing over using the portal anyways. I think it's more likely a portal to Urdak which allowed The Father in his physical form to enter and exit Ingmore's Sanctum whenever he pleased. The object seems two-dimensional compared to the Spheres and also seems to have a unique swirl around it, whereas the Spheres pulsate. And also judging by the fact that the Blue Sphere is also floating exactly above of the other spheres position. in fact, indicating the Scene has another and a White Sun. If It were an artificial sun, why would the father bother to create one If he could just create a standard sun with no difficulty? It would also mean, since It's blue the Scene would be lit blue and not 2hite as It is, It does shine blue noticeable on the buildings (At least I assume It's buildings) but not enough to lit the whole scene. Why would the Seraphim want to place hands on the Khan's orbit would not yet be revealed at the moment and the Slayer seemed a lot suspicious of the Seraphim in this moment for some reason. Searching more designwise, Vega's icon is also a circle and also blue, So the only thing we have to identify the Father or Vega is a blue circle/sphere. Notice the one being said to be the Father's is a yellow one and who we know uses a lot of Yellow in design? The Khan Maykr, also It is almost the same as the ball that flew off from the Maykrs Corpse in the main game, meaning It could in fact be hers.

In regards to the Seraphim he could be trying to deceive the Slayer actually. Since the father is the creator of all, including the Dark Lord, It would make sense for his sphere being the biggest and most powerful of all. Also we see at the Sphere's place they can indeed have different sizes, the smaller ones probably from the other gods (primevals) which are not as powerful. If It's a portal, to where? Not to Urdak since the Father wanted this are Isolated from Urdak and Unreachable by Hell. Because It was never explained what It exactly is.
